A digital twin is a dynamic, virtual replica of a physical system, or process that integrates real-time data with simulation.
In the context of urban mobility, this encompasses transport networks, infrastructure assets (e.g., roads, bridges, traffic signals), vehicles, public transport and especially traveller behaviour.
